Federica Palestino
Federica Palestino I am Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the University Federico II of Naples, Department of Architecture. My research is focused on how to reuse the heritage of the modern city and to improve the regeneration of the contemporary one, with a specific emphasis on fragile communities and places. In order to tackle globalization processes, I explore how to plan policies aimed to construct shared visions of the city. My research topics are: Culture-led regeneration processes and their effects on the contemporary city; Rehabilitation of modern city heritage: between transformative dynamics and reuse policies; Vulnerable territories and community resilience.
